At Studio IDC, leadership starts with curiosity. Recently, Todd Tyler and Trisha Brookbank led our design team on a visit to the Tidelli showroom in Miami, reinforcing our commitment to continuous learning and collaboration. Hosted by Michele Kafer (Business Development), Monica Tatbak (Sales Design Consultant), and Kathy (Marketing Director) from Tidelli, our team had the opportunity to view the brand’s full range of outdoor furniture, lighting, and accessories, all designed for durability in coastal climates.
“Seeing new collections in person helps us understand the craftsmanship, comfort, and flexibility behind each product,” said Todd. “It allows our team to identify opportunities where great design meets real value for our clients.”
“The hospitality we received from the Tidelli team was incredible,” added Trisha. “These experiences keep our designers inspired and ensure we’re specifying products that perform as beautifully as they look.”
The visit also emphasized shared values around community and sustainability, as our team learned about the Tidelli Institute, which supports local artisans through skill development and education. “Each piece carries a story,” noted Caterina Garcia, one of Studio IDC’s designers. “That connection between people and process is what makes design feel authentic.”
For Senior Designer Sandra Rodriguez, seeing Tidelli’s materials firsthand reinforced why Studio IDC values working with family-owned companies that understand craftsmanship. “The textures, ropes, and natural forms are beautifully considered,” she said.
Through experiences like this, Studio IDC continues to strengthen partnerships, deepen product knowledge, and ensure that every design decision aligns with our core values of innovation, authenticity, and connection.
