As Chief Creative Officer Todd Tyler shared during a recent panel discussion at Bisnow’s South Florida & Caribbean Hotel & Hospitality Summit, today’s guests expect more than luxury.

With National Patch Day approaching on June 24, the Studio IDC team once again came together to support the mission of the Oliver Patch Project, a nonprofit organization that empowers children battling cancer, chronic illnesses, and mental health challenges through the creativity and connection of custom-designed patches.

Studio IDC is excited to join leading voices in hospitality at the upcoming Bisnow South Florida & Caribbean Hotel & Hospitality Summit, where Chief Creative Officer Todd Tyler will speak on a panel titled “Beyond the Stay: Redefining Hospitality with Elevated Amenities and Experiences.”

Studio IDC President Stephanie Tyler participated in a panel with prominent design industry leaders at South Florida’s “Hats Off” Member Appreciation Brunch on April 5, 2025. The panel included:

At Studio IDC, we are committed to thoughtful, safe, and innovative design, which is rooted in rigorous standards, professional accountability, and continuous education. Therefore, we firmly oppose the proposed Florida legislation (HB 991) that aims to dismantle the Board of Architecture and Interior Design, along with other expert-led regulatory boards across the state.

As Studio IDC Vice President Trisha Brookbank states, “This has the potential to be an absolute disaster. If you care about architecture and design as a regulated profession, and you should for safety reasons, if nothing else, please take action.”
