Blue Belle Villa, Jumby Bay, Antigua (2024)

Blue Belle is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom, 5,290-square-foot beachfront retreat within the exclusive Davis Bay Beach area of Jumby Bay Island, Antigua. This luxury rental property is bordered by native royal palms and a variety of lush foliage. With direct access to the beach, this prime location provides incredible views of Henzell Point across the Caribbean to Antigua.

For this renovation, the design team drew inspiration from the natural beauty of the villa’s surroundings, aiming to create a light, airy environment and a sublime seaside escape. The previous design had very saturated colors and was eclectic stylistically; for the renovation, the owners preferred to create a more soothing atmosphere with a soft, cool palette giving way to the views of the punchy turquoise Caribbean Sea. As a result, the design is a soft, beachy mix of materials, textures, and colors that provide easy elegance.

The renovation also focused on modernizing the interiors by incorporating contemporary elements with organic textures. Carefully selected decorative fixtures add sophistication and the ability to create multiple lighting scenes along with distinctly different moods. Other unique touches, including original artwork and bespoke furnishings, bring personalized character to the villa.
